Billy Ray Greer

Billy Ray Greer, 75, died July 6, 2013 in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, July 12, 2013, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Greer was born June 8, 1938 in Ponca City, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school. He married Marcia Love on May 23, 1961, and she preceded him in death on January 7, 2009. Billy owned and operated B & R Motor Company for many years. He enjoyed being involved in stock shows, watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and attending the Woody Guthrie singings. He was an active member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nova Greer. Survivors include two daughters, Christie Wall of Amarillo and Mistie West and husband Billy of Pampa, five grandchildren, Katelin Williams and husband Trenton, Coleby West, Cameron Wall, Brett West and Halie West. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 11, 2013 and Friday, July 12, 2013, at Mistie and Billy West's home at 367 Winter Quarters Road in Pampa.
