Billy J. Fulcher March 16, 1925 - June 26, 2013 Billy J. “Bill” Fulcher, 88, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Fulcher was born March 16, 1925 in Wellington. He was a submariner in the South Pacific, serving with the U. S. Navy during World War II. He married Carol Smith on June 2, 1949 in Canyon. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2009. Bill had been a resident of Pampa since 1960. He was a superintendent for Pioneer Natural Gas, retiring in 1986 after 38 years of service. He received his high school diploma from Sudan High School in 2004. He was a member and deacon of Central Baptist Church and was a Gideon. He was widely known by “Billford” and sponsored youth mission trips for many years, faithfully driving the Fulcher van. The family offers special thanks to the staff of Pampa Nursing Center and BSA Hospice for their loving care in his last months. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Lynn Seabourn and husband Danny of Pampa, and Lou Ann Seabourn and husband Steve of Amarillo, a sister, Mary Russell and husband Willard of Tucson, Arizona, and two grandchildren, Josh Seabourn and Molly Seabourn, both of Pampa.
