Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, and Hiram Reyes, officiating.Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Rev. Marchman was born November 6, 1937 in Hamlin. He moved to Pampa as a young boy and graduated from Pampa High School in 1956. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. Fines married Patricia Sue West on March 30, 1963 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2005. He surrendered to preach at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton in 1975. He served 37 years in the ministry until his recent retirement from First Baptist Church in Skellytown. Fines also worked many years in the oilfield supply business, including Clifton Supply and WB Supply. He was passionate about following all of his grandchildren's activities. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be truly missed.Survivors include his daughter: Dana Marchman of Plainview; his son: Dale Marchman and wife Jamie of Perryton; 3 grandchildren: Courtney Marchman of Odessa, Abbie Marchman and Tyler Marchman, both of Perryton; 2 sisters: Erma Dean McKee of Gruver and Irene Thurmond of Clarendon; a brother: Rayford Marchman of Gruver; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.Memorials may be offered to First Baptist Church Youth Fund, P.O. Box 176, Skellytown, Texas 79080, or Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas 79106.
