Russell David Hext

Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the Cowboy Church in McLean, with Rev. Ronnie Ferguson, pastor, officiating.Burial will follow in the Alanreed Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Hext was born January 3, 1958 in Borger and had been a resident of Pampa most of his life. Russell was a cowboy most of his life, working for the Taylor Ranch, McCloy Feed Yard and the Herring Ranch. He had worked for B & G Electric for the past 5 years.Survivors include 2 sons: David Hext and wife Stacy and Cody Hext and wife Chassey, all of Pampa; his mother: Evelyn Hext of Pampa; a brother: Derrel Hext and wife Tina of Pampa; and 2 grandsons: Damian Hext and Davin Hext. He was preceded in death by his sister: Debbie McCowan.Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
