Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Miami Cemetery with Rev. Lewis Holland, retired Methodist minister, officiating, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa. Funeral honors courtesy of Fort Hood Army Personnel.Mr. Flowers was born January 19, 1922 in Perryton. Bryant was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving at the end of World War II in the Pacific Theater. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1967. He was a member of the Miami American Legion #106, Pampa Elks Lodge, and the Western Swing Music Society of the Southwest. Bryant was an avid collector and published the book The Flowers Collection Avon Guide.Survivors include a daughter: Jo Lynn Rowland of Amarillo; 2 sons: Tim Flowers of Miami and Jim Flowers of Wheat Ridge, CO; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother: James Flowers, a grandson: Scott Flowers, and a nephew: Eldon Flowers.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Western Swing Music Society of the Southwest, P.O.
