SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 16, 2012, at the Lefors Church of Christ, with Gene Gee, minister, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. McGuffin was born Sept. 5, 1940 in Evans, Louisiana. She married Ralph Carrol McGuffin on May 19, 1957 in Ajo, Arizona. He preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2009. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Lefors since 1980. She was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Allan McGuffin of Canyon and Don McGuffin and wife Debbie of DeQueen, Arkansas; a daughter: Carolyn Hess and husband Bud of Lefors; a sister: Alice Nelson of Pell City, Alabama; and 9 grandchildren: Al McGuffin, Jr., David Roshto, Nick Hess, Cody Hess, Steven McGuffin, Ashlyn McGuffin, Terance R. C. McGuffin, Clint McGuffin, and Laraine Lynn Scroggins and husband Scott; and by 7 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: McLean Care Center, 605 7th St., McLean, TX 79057.
