Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral DirectorsBIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Shipman was born February 21, 1922 in Jack County, Texas. She was a 1941 graduate of Lefors High School. She had been a resident of Lefors for over 60 years before moving to Pampa 4 years ago. She married Troy Shipman on December 21, 1941 in Yuma, Arizona. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2011. Juanita was a member of Lefors United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Juanita was a great seamstress and loved to cook. She loved to travel, especially on fishing trips with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Barney and Emily Smith; 2 brothers: Boyd Smith and Fred Smith; and 3 sisters: Mary Clemmons, Barbara Hugg and Maggie Gates. SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Rhonda Maag and husband Mike of Wichita Falls, and Donna Daugherty and husband Dan of Pampa; a son: Gene Shipman and wife Jan of Stephenville; 6 grandchildren: Tonya Garza, Valorie Wariner and Randy Hendrick and wife Michelle, all of Pampa, David Owens of Lefors, Troy Don Owens and wife Holly of Corpus Christi, and Rodney Wariner and wife Tara of Burkburnett.MEMORIALS: Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065.
