SERVICES: Vigil will be at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Liturgy of the Word will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. John Valdez, pastor of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hereford, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Birdsell was born Jan. 21, 1941 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and was a 1959 graduate of College High School in Bartlesville. She attended Oklahoma St. University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Diann married Jim Birdsell on May 18, 1963 in Bartlesville. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1991. Diann worked for the Arrington Companies for many years as an administrative assistant and also worked for Cabot Corporation. She was a Presbyterian and attended St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with her family. She was a past member of the Pampa Altrusa Club and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Diann volunteered in the medical records office at Pampa Regional Medical Center for several years. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of several bridge clubs.SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Susan Bromlow, husband David, and their sons, Mitch and Ryan, all of Pampa; Marcia Moreland, husband Mike, and their sons, Mason and Matthew, all of Dallas; and Jill Harris, husband Carrel, and their children, Callie and Cory, all of Amarillo; 2 brothers: Bob Ringo and wife Louise of Lincoln, CA, and Jim Ringo and wife Robin of Norman, OK; a sister: Joann Foster and husband Woody of Kerrville.
