SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Miami with Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor, and Philip Elsheimer, officiating.BURIAL: Miami Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of PampaBIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Herman was born July 7, 1933 in Wellington and had lived in the Pampa and Miami area since 1969. She married Phillip Melvin Bynum on July 3, 1950 in Raton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1969. Frankie later married Bob Herman on Nov. 11, 1984 in Pampa. She was a floral designer for many years at Clements Flowers in Pampa. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and she was a Baptist. After her retirement, Frankie enjoyed doing weddings, making floral arrangements, fishing, playing cards, and playing dominoes. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ola Berry, a brother, Fern Berry, a daughter, LaRita Wassell, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Jean Wassell.SURVIVORS: Husband: Bob Herman of the home; 4 daughters: Judy Portis and husband Gerry of Shreveport, LA, Lisa Mears of Amarillo, Kathy Bieker of Kilgore, and Tina Robinson and husband Tony of Pampa; a son: David Herman and wife Wanda of Overland Park, KS; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews, including Cindy Hewett of Clarendon and Lisa Howell of LaPryor.MEMORIALS: American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
