Joe Doyle

SERVICES: Private family burial was held at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Doyle was born June 13, 1940 in Manhattan, New York. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1967. Joe married Beth Eldridge on May 2, 1969 in Pampa. He worked in the oilfield, Pampa Independent School District, City of Pampa sanitation department, the Pampa Mall and WalMart, retiring in 2009. He attended Central Baptist Church. Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he was especially proud of his role as a grandfather.SURVIVORS: his wife: Beth Doyle of McLean; 2 daughters: LaDonna Umburger of St. Petersburg, Florida and Melba Leitch of Pampa; a grandson: Charles Tooley and companion Halee Green of Pampa; a granddaughter: Liz Holland of St. Petersburg, Florida; and 3 great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Joanie Doyle and Sheila Doyle; and his son-in-law: Robert Leitch, III.
