Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Baird was born April 28, 1930 in Pampa to Ernest Holmes and Gladys Williams Baird. He was a lifelong Pampa resident and was a 1948 graduate of Pampa High School. Bob served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Ruthie Bullard on Sept. 2, 1956 in Pampa. Bob was a measurement technician for Transwestern Pipeline for 25 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clyde, and a sister, Inez Rich.SURVIVORS: Wife: Ruthie Baird of the home; 2 daughters: Teresa Hillman and husband Lester and Linda Searl an husband Paul, all of Pampa;a sister: Minelle Turner of Pampa; a brother: Bill Baird of Wichita Falls; 4 grandchildren: Adam Hillman and wife Courtney of Haslet, Desiree Devoll and husband Roy, Heidi Reynolds and husband Thomas, and Staci Garcia, all of Pampa; and by 6 great grandchildren: Riley Devoll, Grayson Devoll, Emma Searl, Izabella Garcia, Hallie Reynolds, and Zoe Reynolds.MEMORIALS: Highland Baptist Church, 1301 N.
