SERVICES: Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, August 13, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Arockia Raj, associate pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Memorial funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Garcia was born April 6, 1961 in Corpus Christi. She married Alfonso Garcia on September 11, 1980 in Houston. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1980. Paula was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her.SURVIVORS: husband: Alfonso Garcia of the home; daughter: Luzann Bailey and husband Mark Edward of Pampa; 2 sons: Alfonso Garcia, III and wife Shelly, and Jose A. Garcia and wife Joahana, all of Pampa; 8 grandchildren: Mia Victoria Garcia, Fabian Orrantia, Taelar Garcia, Arianne Jade Garcia, Lane Edward Bailey, Mariana Isabela Garcia, Alfonso Xavier Garcia, IV and Jarron Paul Bailey; 3 sisters: Hilda DeLeon and Lupe Garza, both of Robstown, and Lucy Garcia of Corpus Christi; 3 brothers: Jose M. Ponce, Jr., of Pampa, Greg Ponce of Kingsville, and Mark Villarreal of Robstown.
