SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, and Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Quary was born February 7, 1920 in Childress County. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1939. She married James Quary on March 31, 1940 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2009. Clara retired as an LVN after 22 years of service, working at Highland General Hospital and for Dr. Kelly and Dr. Lee. She served as city secretary for the City of Pampa for 11 years and worked as a paramedic in Lubbock for 15 years. She was a member of Pampa Garden Club, and was election judge for the Republican Party. Clara was a member of Central Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 42 years. The family extends a special thanks to Evelyn and Bertha with Shepard's Crook Home Health Care, and Debbie, Loren and Patsy with Interim Health Care. SURVIVORS: a daughter: Clarice Doss and husband Bob of Pampa; a sister: Bessie Ethridge and husband Pete of Dumas; 3 grandchildren: Robert Doss and wife Jeannie of Haskell, Deborah Youngblood and husband Dave of Seadrift, and Jim Doss and wife Jennifer of Woodland Park, Colorado; 5 great-grandchildren: John, Dustin, Daniel, Raven an Brian; and 3 great-great-grandchildren: Derek, Dalton and Tristan. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 513 E. Francis, Pampa, Texas 79065.
