SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Southside Church of Christ, with Mariland Sims, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Foy was born August 13, 1934 in Palestine to Leroy and Essie Robinson, and was an only child. She married Jessie Foy and he preceded her in death. Her parents also preceded her on the road to heaven. Annie lived a good life full of joy and brought happiness to many. She moved to Pampa approximately 30 years ago. She worked several jobs in Pampa, including housekeeping, cook and medical aide. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: her son: Roy Lee Clerkley of Pittsburgh, PA; her daughter: Laura Carter and husband Rubin of Pampa; 8 grandchildren: Justin Carter of Omaha, NE, Tod Carter and wife Maria of Houston, Edwin Carter and wife Heather, Dominique Clerkley and Brijette Clerkley, all of Pittsburgh, PA, Jeanetta Young, Elonda Jackson and husband SSGT Colin Jackson, all of Fort Mitchell, AL, and Rod Darnell of Pampa; and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Heart Association, 2514 82nd Street, Suite B, Lubbock, Texas 79423, or the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
