BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Chesher was born January 25, 1931 in Shamrock, Oklahoma. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, farmer, rancher and second mother to many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and neighbors, and caregiver for many. She farmed with "Big John" in Roberts County since 1935. She married John Chesher on August 3, 1948 at First Christian Church in Pampa where she and her family had been members for many years. He preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father, Hazel Switzer Shaw and Lonzo Shaw, two sons, Carl and Jimmy, sister-in-law, Joyce Shaw, and one great granddaughter, Jasmine Hunter.SURVIVORS: her son: John Alvin Chesher and wife Mary E. Chesher of Pampa; her daughter: Connie L. Hunter and husband Doyle R. of Hot Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Shawn Wilson and husband Tom of Plano, Tammy Stevens and husband Jeff and Kevin Chesher and wife Julie, all of Pampa, and Jay Hunter and wife Ronda of Gravette, Arkansas; twelve great-grandchildren: Hunter and Laurie Ann Wilson, Jonathan, Nicholas, Andrew and Gracie Stevens, Hannah and Travis John (TJ) Hunter, Addison Russell, Kaylee, Kamryn and Karmen Chesher; four brothers: Lee Roy Shaw and wife Wilma, Vinson Shaw and wife Bobbie, and Jackie Shaw and wife Marlene, all of Pampa, and William Shaw and wife Jenny of Marana, Arizona; four sisters: Mary Denham and husband Ray of Pampa, Geneva Thompson and husband Bill of Boerne, Virginia Ridgway and husband Bill of Mobeetie, and Darlene Asencio and husband Ray of White Deer.MEMORIALS: First Christian Church, 1633 N.
