Mark Miller Goring

SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 5:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Dyer's Bar-B-Que with Joan Gaines, chaplain of BSA Hospice, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mark was born November 24, 1951 in Belleville, Illinois. He graduated from MacArthur High School in Pembrook Pines, Florida and received a BS degree in business management from Central Michigan University. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was stationed at McDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Mark married Nancy Beckworth on July 5, 2001 in San Antonio. He was an air traffic controller in Louisville, Kentucky for several years and for the past five years, was a manager for GE Wind Energy, building wind farms. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Inc., and was a Methodist.SURVIVORS: his wife: Nancy Freeman Goring of Pampa; a stepson: Adam Beckworth of Portland, Maine; several nieces and nephews.
