Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Vitela was born October 30, 1951 in Petersburg. She had been a resident of Portland since 2009, moving from Perryton.SURVIVORS: 4 daughters: Josie Braddock of Pampa, LaVern Gonzales and Molly Valenzuela, both of Perryton, and Crystal Sheets of San Antonio; a son: Rene Valenzuela of Taylor; 3 brothers: David Vitela of Austin, Felix Vitela and Ernest Vitela, both of Portland; 5 sisters: Stella Alonzo, Christina Flores and Isabel Vitela, all of Big Spring, Ida Trevino of Portland, and Mary Vitela of Sherman; 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
