Darren Willis, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Chambers was born January 16, 1924 in Waco where she attended school. She married Herman Chambers on February 5, 1962 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2008. She worked in the home economics department at Pampa High School for 24 years. Billie was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for many years. SURVIVORS: 7 nieces: Faye Wilson of Fort Worth, Jessie Levi, Barbara Levi and Phyllis Levi, all of Amarillo, Joyce Brown and Vivian Brown, both of Pampa, and Doris Jones of Wichita, Kansas; 2 nephews: Eugene Lynn of Abilene and Charles Levi of Amarillo; a host of great nieces and great nephews, including her great niece and caregiver: Tina Wilson. Billie was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Julia Levi; a sister: Elizabeth Lynn; a brother: James Levi; and a niece: Zonia Jackson.
