Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens CemeteryBIOGRAPHY: Margie was born January 4, 1927 in Clovis, New Mexico to James W. and Lora Allen Brummett. Her family moved to Pampa in 1934, and she graduated from Pampa High School in 1944. Margie met Army Air Corps Sgt. V. C. Moore while she was in school and he was stationed at Pampa Army Air Field. They were married on Aug. 3, 1945. Margie was a furniture upholsterer and worked with her sister, Martha Holt, and her parents for over 20 years at Brummett's Furniture Upholstery Shop.Church was very important to Margie and her family. In 1947, she became an active member of Central Baptist Church and through the years she worked with children's Sunday school, women's missions, senior choir, angel tree, and prison ministry. She said she was most blessed by God while teaching prisoners about Jesus, watching them give their hearts to the Lord, and seeing God turn their lives around to become worthy men. She also volunteered at Tralee Resale for over 11 years and refurbished over 1200 dolls. Margie was a member of Top O' Texas Racing Pigeon Club and was a Girl Scout leader. Her most enjoyable gig was with the Put-Ons, a local singing group who performed 210 times across the Panhandle.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Linda Dodd and husband Newt of Pampa and Vicky Helms and husband Paul of Bella Vista, Arkansas; a son: Jerry Moore and wife Evalyn Hubert of Leavenworth, Kansas; a sister: Martha Holt of Pampa; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brothers, Bobby J. Brummett and Lloyd Brummett.MEMORIALS: Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 513 E.
