SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Tarvin was born August 24, 1920 in Clarendon. She married Lige Tarvin on March 30, 1940 in Shamrock. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1992. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1953. She was a member Central Baptist Church. She received her Associate's degree in Cosmetology from Clarendon Junior College. She was the credit manager at Zales Jewelry for 15 years. She worked at Pampa Regional Medical Center in the administration office. SURVIVORS: a son: Larry Tarvin of Pampa: 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law: Patricia Tarvin of Amarillo.
