SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Paul Nachtigall, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Private inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery Columbarium. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Betty was an only child born to Aaron "Ace" and Sadie Johnson Chesnut on February 3, 1932 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Darrouzett High School in 1949 at age 17 and had been a resident of Pampa since 1961. She worked in the food and beverage business in Pampa, and many will remember her from the Coronado Inn, Sandy's Lounge, the WW Sports Bar, and the Pampa Country Club. Betty had been a resident of Pampa Manor Apartments Senior Complex since 2005 and leaves many friends there. Her pastimes were reading, word puzzles, watching movies, and watching NCIS and other detective shows. Her favorite actor was John Wayne.SURVIVORS: Six children: Belinda Stafford and husband John, Aaron Hill and wife Debbie, and Timothy Hill and wife Tammy, all of Pampa; Richard Hill of Corpus Christi; Harvey Hill of La Porte; and Kelly Jo Peercy of Dickinson; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and her loyal companion, Molly B., her 10 year-old English bulldog.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to BSA Hospice, 800 N.
