SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2012, at Fellowship Baptist Church, with Joel Osborne, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Belt was born November 16, 1942 in Kellyville, Oklahoma. He married Jane Elder on July 3, 1964 in Clayton, New Mexico. He worked and lived in Borger and Pampa for many years before permanently moving to Pampa in 1983. Johnny worked as a commercial truck driver for Leonard Hudson and Snyder Trucking, to name a few. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and became an ordained chaplain where he volunteered for the TDCJ Jordan Unit. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He loved to sing and for the last twenty years, he played Santa for the Community Day Care Center. He will be remembered as a loving and cheerful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. SURVIVORS: his wife: Jane Belt of the home; a daughter: Sharon Keeter and husband Michael of Pampa; a granddaughter: Phoenix Keeter of Pampa; his sister: Linda Lacefield and husband Wyatt of Borger; his mother-in-law: Lee Elder of Pampa; 2 sisters-in-law: Linda Everson and Shirley Powell and husband Charles, all of Pampa; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Katherine Belt; a brother: Arthur Belt, Jr.; and a sister: Cathy Hart. MEMORIALS: National Kidney Foundation, 801 S.
