Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hernandez was born November 29, 1936 in Higgins and has been a lifelong resident of Pampa. Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Mary Carman Luna on November 7, 1956 in Pampa. Arthur retired on May 31, 2001 from the City of Pampa as a Sanitation Supervisor.SURVIVORS: Wife: Mary Hernandez of the home; 2 sons: Eddie Hernandez of Amarillo, and Mark Hernandez of Pampa; 1 daughter: Debbie Hernandez of Amarillo; 1 brother: Manuel Hernandez of Guymon, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents.
