SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, April 16, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Lefors, with Rev. Lewis Ellis, retired Baptist minister, and Rev. Ronnie Lambert, pastor of First Baptist Church of Lefors, officiating.BURIAL: Private family burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mama Lou was born July 14, 1922 in Powderly, Texas. She married Marvin Allison on November 9, 1937 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1998. She had been a resident of Lefors since 1960 and she once owned The Hilltop Café in Lefors. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lefors. SURVIVORS: son: Lynn Allison and wife Lynn of Pampa; daughter: Barbara Darmstadt and husband Jeffrey of Tyler; daughter-in-law: Helen Allison of Pampa; 9 grandchildren: Allison Pickering and husband Paul of Warrenton, Missouri, Cindy Smith and husband Ken of Flint, Rodney Low and wife Sonya of Bullard; Staci Low of Carrollton, Stephanie Downs and husband Shane of Pampa, Tyler Allison and wife Howdi and Cortnie Price and husband Trent, all of Pampa; Cody Allison and wife Kim of San Angelo; and Shelbie Glover and husband Trey of Tyler; 21 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; 4 nephews and a multitude of friends. Mama Lou was preceded in death by her parents: Bryan and Bessie Coward; a son: Bill Allison; her sister: Janice Allison; and an infant child.
