SERVICES: Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa, with Rev. Alan Wilson, pastor of First Baptist Church of White Deer, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Franks was born December 18, 1937 in Borger. He was a 1955 graduate of Hobbs High School in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was an architect for 45 years, and had been a resident of Skellytown since 1996.SURVIVORS: 5 sons: Jimmy Franks and wife Jaime of Skellytown, Randall Franks of Red Bay, AL, Steven Franks of Canyon, Andy Franks and wife Debbie of Golden, MS, and David Franks of Vina, AL; 2 daughters: Candice Spears and husband Ronnie of Trenton, and Sherry Crum of Red Bay, AL; several grandchildren, including 3 grandsons: Trystan Hunter and Dakota Hunter, both of Skellytown, and R. J. Spears of Trenton; numerous great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: Glen Franks and wife Marlene of Canyon, Jim Franks and wife Judy of Lubbock, and Dale Franks and wife Suzanne of Amarillo; and 7 nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Pkwy, Pampa, Texas 79065, or Skellytown Volunteer Fire Department, 204 SE 4th, Skellytown, Texas 79080.
