SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Bob Banks, pastor of Straight Up Fellowship Church of Pampa, officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Denton-Wood Funeral Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico, and local arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Smith was born April 29, 1920 in Spearman, Texas. She married Dane Cambern on September 14, 1938 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Cliff Scott on May 31, 1981. He preceded her in death in 2001. Joyce had a truly kind spirit and loving heart. She loved her family, she lived to dance and she also loved to travel. We will miss her deeply.SURVIVORS: husband: Al Smith of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 5 children: Dane Cambern and wife Rhonda of Sour Lake, Texas, Grant Cambern and wife Pauline of Amarillo, Texas, Kenny Cambern and wife Judy of Pampa, Texas, Sharon Martindale and husband David of Houston, Texas, and Cindy Harris and husband Rick of Pampa, Texas; her sister: Marciel Barber of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Frank, Fred and A. J. Womble; and 5 grandchildren: Melissa Shannon Cambern, Cheryl Louise Cambern, Matthew Grant Cambern, Doug Auwen and Catherine Diann Cambern.MEMORIALS: PAWS, P. O.
