SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Howard Whiteley, former pastor of the Pampa Chapel of the Apostolic Faith, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Graves was born on April 2, 1925 in Nashville, Arkansas and attended school in southern Arkansas. She married Daniel Graves on Nov. 21, 1941 in Waldo, Arkansas. He preceded her in death in 1990. She and her family moved to Pampa in 1956 where she lived until moving to Amarillo for health care. Nellie worked at Marie Foundations, Coronado Hospital, and she managed the Salvation Army Thrift Store for several years. She attended the Pampa Chapel of the Apostolic Faith. In her spare time, she loved and cared for all her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a hardworking and caring lady who loved all.SURVIVORS: Son: Gary Graves of Pampa; daughter: Kay Waters and husband Buddy of Pampa; two grandsons: Frank Graves of Pampa and Danny Graves and wife Debbra of Amarillo; two granddaughters: Jodie Waters and husband Shea of Amarillo and Jeree Woods and husband Kevin of Pampa; six great grandsons: Brandon Childs, Cody Graves, and Wyatt Davis, all of Amarillo, and Zach Graves, Taylor Woods, and Kade Woods, all of Pampa; two great granddaughters: Ashley Graves of Lubbock and Chloe Davis of Amarillo. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Dennis and Linnie Schneider, by two brothers, J. C.
