SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2012, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Pastor Micah Meurer, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Snyder was born February 1, 1924 in Toyah, Texas where she attended school. She married Earl Snyder on November 5, 1941 in Sierra Blanca. They moved to Pampa in 1963 to be closer to their grandchildren. Virginia worked for Marie Foundation and as a cook for Dyer's, retiring when she turned 65. She loved working barefooted in her front yard with her flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers, Dan Sheffield and Bill Sheffield, and a sister, Lucille McCracken Love.SURVIVORS: a daughter: Clara Smith and husband Warren Gene of Pampa; 2 grandsons: Michael Smith and wife Jamie of Pampa, and Kenneth Smith and wife Lynn of Benbrook; a granddaughter: Lisa Love and husband Brad of Wichita Falls; 3 great-grandsons: Daniel Smith of Pampa, Nathan Love of Wichita Falls and Wyatt Smith of Benbrook; 6 great-granddaughters: Layce Smith and NaKayla Hardman, both of Pampa, Abby Love of Wichita Falls, Raina Smith of Benbrook, Brittany Balay of Amarillo and Heather Bell of Huntsville.MEMORIALS: Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2410 W. 23rd, Pampa, Texas 79065, or the Alzheimer's Association, 415 SW 8th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79101.
