Charles Lowry, pastor of CrossPointe Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Steele was born October 23, 1959 in Pampa. She was a graduate of Pampa High School and later attended cosmetology school. After graduating from cosmetology school, she worked for A Cut Above. In 1982, Billie Jo received a kidney transplant from her father. In April of 2001, she received her second kidney transplant. She married David Steele on November 28, 1991 in Pampa. She was a good wife, mother, sister and aunt.SURVIVORS: husband: David Steele of the home; son: David Lee Steele, II of Watsonville, California; a sister: Leanna Cowan and husband Danny of Pampa; a brother: Jimmy Odell and wife Ella of Romana, Oklahoma; mother-in-law: Pat Steele of Lefors; 2 nephews: Gabriel Cowan and Daniel Odell and children, all of Pampa; 4 nieces: Raeanna Humphrey and husband Jon, Teddi Cowan, Trysten Plunk and Chloe Allen, all of Pampa; 2 great-nieces: Bridgette Humphrey of Pampa and Jessica Cowan of Houston; a great-nephew: Jaydin Elkins of Pampa, and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Claudine Odell; her father-in-law: David Lee Steele; a nephew: Douglas Odell; and a great-nephew.MEMORIALS: National Kidney Foundation, Amarillo District, 801 S.
