SERVICES: 2:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2012 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Young was born October 13, 1929 in Sydon, Arkansas and was a longtime resident of Burns Flat, Oklahoma and Pampa. She married Joe Young on January 2, 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1964. Blondine was a nurse's aide for many years.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Ronnie Young and wife Linda of Pampa, and W. Lee Young of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 2 daughters: Debbie Nicholson and husband Garland of Canyon and Connie Coble and husband Jesse of Borger; a brother: Leslie Berryman of Amada, Arizona; 3 sisters: Renetta Kidd and Barbara Howe, both of Pampa, and Isabel Greene of Tucson, Arizona; 6 grandchildren: Sheila Coble, Stormy Summey, Holly Hutchinson, April McKee, Joey Nicholson and Nicholas Young; 6 great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law: Delores Berryman and friend Jimmy.
