SERVICES: Vigil service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at 7:00 PM at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Brower was born September 1, 1936, in Hoisington, Kansas to Arsenius and Mathilda Woydziak. She attended St. Joseph's elementary school in Beaver, Kansas. Her freshman and sophomore years she attended Sacred Heart Academy in Wichita, Kansas, and graduated high school in Hoisington, Kansas in 1954. She married Bobby Lindsey Brower on January 17, 1955 in Beaver, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2002 after 48 years of marriage. She moved to Alex, Oklahoma in 1960, then to Beaver, Oklahoma in 1961 where she resided until 1973 before moving to Moore, Oklahoma. In 1976, she and Bob moved to Pampa. She was an active member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church where she was involved in many ministries such as the Women's Altar Society, Women of the Cloth, her prayer group, and the Elizabeth Ministries. She was active in the Amarillo Diocese ACTS Community, the TDCJ Rufe Jordan Unit Prison Ministry, Kyros and the Queen Bunko group. Over the past 30 years she had held the positions of Youth Director, secretary, and Religious Education Director at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. In addition, she enjoyed connecting with others through selling AVON over the years in the community.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Linda Trimble and husband Jeff of Oklahoma City, OK and Janice Miner and husband Jimmy of Pampa; 2 Sons: Rick Brower and wife Vicki of Missouri City, Texas and Roy Brower and wife Patti of Moore, OK; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Brower was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Bernard and James Woydziak, and by a grandson, Roy Leon Brower, Jr.A woman of many talents that she freely shared with others. A love of God and a faith so deep that it permeated every aspect of her daily life. She opened her heart and home to all. Her table was never too crowded to squeeze in an unexpected guest. An Angel with a kind word, a ready smile, a genuine laugh, and arms wide open to welcome anyone and everyone. Hugs and kisses generously bestowed on all especially her precious grandchildren. She was always willing to try something new and push for all of us to do the same. She was always looking for ways to make people feel good, needed, and loved. She was a role model to all she came in contact with and was a mom and mimi to many.
