SERVICES: A private family graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Leach was born September 22, 1933 in El Reno, Oklahoma. He graduated from Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri and later attended the University of Oklahoma. After college, he served with the National Guard with the 45th Division. He worked for Baroid as a petroleum engineer. He married Patricia Guy on June 2, 1952 in Wichita Falls. He moved to Pampa in 1975 to work for United Mud, and in 1987, he started his own company, Frontier Mud Service. Jerry was happiest when he was around his family, and he was a diehard OU fan. He loved his wife very much, and he was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.SURVIVORS: wife: Patricia Leach of the home; a daughter: Kerry Lofton and husband D. D. of Pampa; a son: Kelly Leach of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 2 granddaughters: Lesli Beasley and husband Nathan of Fort Worth, and Heather Rose and husband Brandon of Yukon, Oklahoma; a grandson: T. J. Leach of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 5 great-granddaughters: Ashli East of Denton, Avery Rose of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jordyn Richards, Breelyn Richards and Lauryn Richards, all of Pampa; and 3 great-grandsons: Mason Richards of Pampa, Tyson Ward of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Kadin Leach of Amarillo; one brother: Jud Leach and wife Sue of Yukon, Oklahoma; and a sister: Beverly Higgins and husband Terry of Brownfield, New Mexico.
