Dan Campbell of Round Rock, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Shelton was born Aug. 27, 1920 in Gage, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Pampa since 1922. He was a 1938 graduate of Pampa High School and attended West Texas State University. He served in the U. S. Army in the European Theatre during World War II and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant. Charlie married Dorothy Hollingshead on Dec. 31, 1948 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 2004. He was shop foreman for the City of Pampa for 32 years. Charlie was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Pampa Masonic Lodge #966, and the Pampa Senior Citizens Center where he enjoyed playing bridge with his friends.SURVIVORS: a son: Curtis Shelton of Pampa; a sister: Joella Skeen of Georgetown; a sister-in-law: Pattye Hopkins of Marble Falls; and by numerous nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: St. Paul United Methodist Church, 511 N.
