SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at Mobeetie Cemetery with Ammon Weber, bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Borger, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Dennis was born Sept. 24, 1931 in Borger to John and Verna Dennis. He graduated from Compton High School in Compton, California and served in the U. S. Air Force. He married Margie Sangster on Sept. 2, 1981 in Lovington, New Mexico. Jim was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Borger. He worked in the construction industry as a carpenter. Our "Papa Bear" will be greatly missed.SURVIVORS: Wife: Margie Dennis of the home; 2 sons: John Dennis and wife Connie of Henderson, Nevada and Joe Sangster of Borger; 5 daughters: Arlene Kovalanko of Las Vegas, Nevada; Linda Hayes of Utah, Carla Gifford and husband Robert of Cleburne, Margie McLarty and husband Pete of Seymour, and Diana Bruner and husband Denver of Levelland; 18 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
