He had been a resident of Pampa since 1958. He married Lucille Nash on December 25, 1959 in Wellington. Robey retired from the Texas Department of Transportation in 1996. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.SURVIVORS: his wife: Lucille Mallard of the home; his son: Rev. Marvin McPherson Mallard of Greenville; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Nicey Mathis of Pampa. He was preceded in death by his parents: Horace and DeAnna Mallard; 2 sons: Robey Mallard, Jr., and Raymond Mallard; a grandson: B. Y. Young; and a brother: Ivy Mallard.
