SERVICES: 5:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Soldiers for Christ Church, with Chip Watson with Soldiers for Christ, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hassler was born December 23, 1944 in Borger. He had been a resident of Skellytown for over 25 years. He had been a nurse for several years, and retired as a truck driver in 2003. He was a member of Soldiers for Christ Church.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Anastasia Sanchez and husband Alfredo, and Tasha Clements, all of Skellytown; a son: Mike Lacy of Amarillo; 3 sisters: Bertha Porter, Judy Bosley and Carol Rovner, all of Skellytown; 3 brothers: John Hassler of Borger, Jim Hassler of Amarillo, and Alex Hassler of Skellytown; 7 grandchildren: Dylan, Brittney, Julie, Destiny, Kyale, Antonio and Dante.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
