SERVICES: 4:30 PM Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Jean was born January 1, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He married Karen Fuller on August 17, 1956 in Meade, Kansas. He had been a resident of Pampa for the past 25 years. Jim retired from Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline Company as a corrosion tech in 1995. He attended First Christian Church in Pampa, and he enjoyed traveling after his retirement.SURVIVORS: wife: Karen Jean of the home; 2 sons: David Jean of Greensburg, Kansas, and Billy Jean of Farmington, New Mexico; 2 daughters: Jackie Robertson and husband Stan of Greensburg, Kansas, and Jo Ann Freeman of Pampa; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S.
