SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2011, at Ash Creek Cemetery near McAlester, Oklahoma, with Rev. Marvin Ginn, pastor of Ash Creek Union Church of McAlester, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Henson was born August 1, 1926 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946, and re-entered from 1950-1951. He married Annie Lee Zachary on March 19, 1947 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 31, 2001. He was a tool grinder for IRI for 32 years, retiring in 1990. He had been a resident of Skellytown since 1962.SURVIVORS: two sons: Tommy Joe Henson and wife Teresa, and Otis Wayne Henson and wife Cathy, all of Pampa; three grandchildren: Chris Henson of Plano, Tamara Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Lori Perry of Pampa; and five great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065.
