BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery, uder the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Prock was born October 13, 1932 in Custer County, Oklahoma. She graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon with a Bachelor's degree in education. She married Bill Prock on May 5, 1950 in Alanreed. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2009. Jo had been a resident of Pampa from 1952 until 2005 when she moved to Amarillo. She taught school at Pampa ISD for 26 years, retiring in 1990. Her love was teaching math to children. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Who's Who of American Teachers, and Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society. Jo enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was an avid animal lover. She was a strong woman and especially a loving mother.SURVIVORS: her daughter: Dannie Beth Prock of Amarillo; sister-in-law: Christine Prock of Amarillo; aunt: Lorraine Hunt of Elk City, Oklahoma; and several cousins.
