Doug Yates, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene of Plainview, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Thula was born April 17, 1925 to John and Virgie Moore in Floydada, Texas. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1943, where she met her true love. Thula married Cecil McCarrell on April 17, 1946 in Cone, Texas. She was a telephone operator for 3 years, secretary of the Salvation Army for 15 years and worked for the Pampa High School lunch program for 3 years. Thula was a former member of the First Church of the Nazarene, where she worked in the children's ministry. She was currently a member of the Trinity Fellowship Church.SURVIVORS: husband: Cecil McCarrell of the home; 2 sons: Gary McCarrell of Salida, CO and Garvin McCarrell of Colorado Springs, CO; 1 daughter: Sheila Darnell of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Thula was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Zora Moore, Marion Moore and Everett Moore; 3 sisters: Corene Thompson, Bessie Jonas and Eva Mae Moore.MEMORIALS: Shepard's Home Health Care, 916 N.
