Rick Parnell, associate pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Helms was born October 30, 1930 in Pampa and was the second baby to be born in the Worley Hospital. She married Jerry Thurman Helms on December 1, 1959. He preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents: Orval and Avis Walls.SURVIVORS: three children: Michael Thomas Helms and wife Chelly, Trella Kay Talley and husband Joe and Brady Orval Helms and wife Stacy; eight grandchildren: Erica Dawn Helms, Jessica Lynn Walker and husband Tyrone, Richard Kye Gordy, Reese Cole Talley, Trinidee Ashley Chambers and husband Kevin, Brandon Micheal Helms and wife Teisha, Bryan Dale Helms and fiancé Shelia, Blake Wayne Helms and wife Samantha; six great-grandchildren: Shawn Stamp, Allison Stamp, Khloe Maylee Walker, Callie ReAnn Chambers, Dylan Madison Helms and Barrett Lane Helms; two uncles: Mitchell Phillips and Frank Conner; one aunt: Freddie June Conner Seitz; and several cousins.
