SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery, with Brother Phill Conner, son-in-law, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Gage was born June 14, 1931 in Gray County. She attended school in Pampa. Betty married C. N. "Junior" Gage on October 15, 1947 in Pampa. She enjoyed singing western swing music while Junior played the steel guitar. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2010. She was very active in her children's childhood activities, including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Optimist Little League baseball and basketball, and she served as PTA president at Baker Elementary. Betty was a longtime member of Highland Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with BSA Hospice for several years. She loved and raised a wonderful family. Betty was a loving person and was kind to all, and she never met a stranger. SURVIVORS: two sons: Clifford Gage and wife Barbara and Jeff Gage and wife Ellen, all of Pampa; two daughters: Elizabeth Ann Nutt of Houston and Jennifer Conner and husband Phill of Pampa; eight grandchildren: Martin Nutt of Houston, Clifford Gary Gage of Dallas, Dana Jones of Lubbock, Rachel Soto, Holly Gage and Brandon Gage, all of Pampa, Richard Conner of Arlington, and Ryan Conner of San Antonio; six great-grandchildren: Taylor Nutt and Ava Nutt, both of Houston, Sunli Soto and Gunner Soto, both of Pampa, and Ayden Jones and Tucker Jones, both of Lubbock.MEMORIALS: Highland Baptist Church, 1301 N.
