SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Delhi Cemetery in Delhi, Oklahoma, with Rev. Bob Hudson, pastor of Bible Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hysmith was born September 11, 1924 in Sayre, Oklahoma. She attended school in Delhi, Oklahoma. She married Melvin F. Hysmith on June 5, 1942 in Sayre. He preceded her in death in July of 1982. Bernell had been a resident of Pampa since 1968. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Pampa. She was a local babysitter for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.SURVIVORS: her son: Melvin Lee Hysmith of North Richland Hills; 2 daughters: Sandra Friend and husband Jerry of Fritch and Carol Hollaway of Borger; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
