Thacker Haynes, pastor of United Methodist Church of McLean, officiating.BURIAL: Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Beasley was born March 8, 1926 to John and Minnie Van Huss in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The family soon moved to the Texas Panhandle where she attended school at Samnorwood. She married Guy Beasley in 1945 and they moved to McLean, Texas where they ranched and raised three daughters. Georgie was a talented homemaker and also worked at Marie Foundations in Pampa. Her focus was always on caring for her family and friends. She moved to Pampa, Texas in 1982 and resided there until moving to Schulenburg in 2005.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Van Huss, husband, Guy Beasley, sisters Goldie Van Huss, Geraldine White, Pauline Smith, brother, John Calvin Van Huss, and nephew, Jimmy White. She is survived by daughters Joyce Beasley of Austin, Dorothy Weiser and husband Tom of Las Cruces, NM, and Martha Skelton of Schulenburg, TX; four grandchildren, Guy Skelton, James Zachary Skelton, Edgar Weiser and Allison Weiser Cito; and five great grandchildren, Zackery, Danielle, Guy Wesley, Joshua, and Samantha Skelton. She is also survived by nieces, Wanda Reynolds and Arlene Erickson and nephews, John Herron, Jesse C. White, Bobby White, Tommy White, J.B. Van Huss, and Johnny Van Huss. Extended family also includes Gary Joe Skelton, Cherie and Gary Jones, and John and Jay Evans.The family requests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
