SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2011, at Highland Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Nachtigall, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. West was born February 27, 1944 in Turlock, California. She was a former resident of White Deer, working at Clint & Sons as a cashier. After moving to Pampa, she worked at Frank's Thriftway as a cashier. Martha was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.SURVIVORS: 3 sons: Terry West of Pampa, Scott West and wife Willa of Stinnett, and Randy West of Lubbock; 2 daughters: Kelly West of Plano and Denise Allen of Pampa; a brother: Charles Butcher of Pampa; 2 sisters: Norene Marsh and Barbara Mesneak, both of Pampa; 5 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. Martha was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Opal Butcher, and a son: Dennis Ray West in 1992.
