SERVICES: Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Brother Paul Nachtigall, Chaplin of Interim Hospice, officiating. Mrs. Hudson will not be available for viewing. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Ruth was born March 24, 1933 in Kinsley, Kansas. She married E.L. "Shorty" Hudson on May 30, 1953 in Larned, Kansas. Ruth has been a resident of Pampa since 1964 where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Mathews Episcopal Church and was a former President of the Pampa Garden Club.SURVIVORS: Husband: Shorty of the home; 1 son: Dustin Hudson of Lefors; 1 daughter: Gisele Hays and husband Barry of Borger; 4 grandchildren: Jessica Hays of Roswell, Mew Mexico, Jason Hays and wife Lauren, Evan Hays all of Borger and Marissa Hudson of Amarillo; 1 great granddaughter: Bryn Hays of Borger; 1 brother: John Reed of Lawrance, Kansas; 2 sisters: Rosland Jorn of Plattsburg, Missouri and Enid Nesbit of Olathe, Kansas.MEMORIALS: Favorite Charity
