BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Jackson was born July 14, 1913 in Roberts County and was a lifelong resident of Gray and Roberts Counties. She graduated from Canyon High School and attended what is now West Texas A & M University. She worked for what is now the Farm Service Agency which is a part of the U. S. Dept. of Agriculture. Minnie Olive married W. B. Jackson on Dec. 2, 1944 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1987. Following her husband's death, Minnie Olive farmed and ranched their land in Gray and Roberts Counties. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Wayside Club.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Georganna Briggs and husband Ronald of Amarillo; a grandson: Cliff Briggs and wife Melanie of Amarillo; two great grandchildren: Chase Briggs and Shayne Briggs of Amarillo; two nieces: Nita Jo Tomlinson and husband Mart of Marble Falls and Janet Kampschroeder and husband David of Amarillo; a nephew: Wyeth J. Osborne and wife Sandy of Pampa; four great nieces: Cara Tomlinson of Austin, Katrina Taylor and husband Trent of Amarillo, Kindi Jo Fiscus and husband Bryan of Wichita, KS, and Leigh Ellen Lafferty and husband Ladd of Watonga, OK; two great nephews: Kerry Kampschroeder and wife Michelle of Clugerville and Barry Osborne of Amarillo. Minnie Olive was preceded in death by her parents, George and Carrie Talley Montgomery, by two sisters, Juanita "Sis" Massengale and Roberta Pugh, and by a brother, R. E.
