SERVICES: There will be no services. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Cunningham was born Aug. 25, 1927 in Flint, Michigan. He had been a resident of Pampa since 2005, moving from Midwest City, Oklahoma. He served in the U. S. Air Force for over 20 years, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant. After his military retirement, he received a master's of education degree in psychology from Oklahoma City University. Bob married Phyllis Swensen on March 5, 1949 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She preceded him in death on July 5, 2007. He and his wife enjoyed traveling in their motor home for several years.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Pat McCracken and husband Tom of Pampa and Cynthia McPherson and husband Lee of Rose Hill, Virginia; a son: Robert Cunningham, Jr. and wife Lucinda of Newcastle, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law: Tammy Cunningham of Shawanee, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Cunningham, by a son, James Cunningham, on April 6, 2011, and by a brother, Clarence Cunningham.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to BSA Hospice, 800 N.
