Justin Coleman, pastor of Abundant Life Assembly of God of Canadian, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Holdaway was born February 16, 1926 in Gray, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Pampa, and a 1945 graduate of Pampa High School. She married Johnnie Earl Holdaway on April 24, 1946 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2000. She had been a resident of Canadian since 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School and served as a missionette leader for several years. While at the Edward Abraham Memorial Home in Canadian, she enjoyed participating in all activities, especially bingo and the joy rides. SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Linda J. Box of Edmond, Oklahoma, Donna K. Engle and husband Larry of Canadian, and Jana S. Holdaway of Pampa; 2 grandchildren: Justin Box and wife Katie of North Port, Florida, and Janee Perez of Dallas; 2 great-grandchildren: Grayson Box and Hadley Box, both of North Port, Florida. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: George Box; 2 grandchildren: Kristie Box and Jonathan Perez; and a brother: Raymond Jewell.
