SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Linda Kelly, rector of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Stephenson was born August 6, 1920 in Dublin, Texas, to Leila Ruth Hallmark Cline and Thurman Cline, Sr. After graduating from W. C. Stripling High School in Fort Worth in 1936, she was employed in the buying office for Montgomery Ward and Co. for four years. In December of 1941, Norma moved to Pampa and accepted the job of accountant and office manager for Tex Evans Buick Co. Inc. where she enjoyed 17 years with them. Because of her desire to extend her knowledge to another type of business, she accepted a place with Citizens Bank & Trust Co. as a teller and then as a loan secretary. After 10 pleasant years there, she was offered the opportunity to go with Leonard Hudson Drilling Co. as an accountant, office manager and corporate secretary-treasurer. She spent 22 wonderful years there, retiring on December 31, 1990. On March 8, 1942, Norma married Norman Fulps in Pampa. Their 45 year, happy marriage, ended with his death on March 23, 1987. On January 31, 1990, she married Lester Stephenson in Bullhead City, Arizona. Their wonderful romance and marriage ended when cancer claimed his life on October 30, 1995.Norma was formerly a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and Beta Sigma Phi, the B&PW Club, and the Pampa Country Club for many years. She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Robert L. Edmondson of Pampa, her brother and sister-in-law: Thurman Cline, Jr., and wife Doris, her brother, James H. Cline of Odessa; and her special nephew: Ron C. Edmondson of Corsicana.SURVIVORS: her sister-in-law: Ann Berry Cline of Odessa; nieces and nephews: Terry Cline and wife Terry of Houston, Dale Cline and wife Bev of Southlake, Don Cline and wife Heather of Benbrook, Debra Briley and husband Monty of Fort Worth, Caprice Bauer and husband John of Nevada City, California, Leesa Sanders and husband Robert of Kingwood, Terra Adams and husband Dwight of Round Rock, and Tonya Paul and husband Scott of San Diego, California; 18 great nieces and nephews; and many wonderful, caring friends who have been such a big part of her life.MEMORIALS: St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 727 W.
